This blended course is open to young people aged 16-19 and will take place from the end of September to December, film production will take place in October over Halloween break. Thursday evenings and occasional Saturdays is the time commitment.

Closing Date for applications is Monday 12th September but if you need a little more time contact the Nerve Centre directly, asap. 

The BFI Film Academy helps to train and inspire the next generation of filmmakers, supporting young people aged 16 to 19 to develop the commercial and cultural knowledge and skills to help make a career in film. No experience is required which means that this course is open to MIA, Art, Drama or any other student interested in learning about the film and television industry as long as they are between the ages of 16-19 on the first day of the course.

Run Times: Nerve Centre, Derry-Londonderry

Online via Zoom: Thursdays | 4.30pm-8.30pm

In venue (occasional): Saturdays | 10.30am-4.30pm
