Admissions Criteria Overview
In June 2020 the Board of Governors decided that St Columb’s College would not use academic criteria for admission to Year 8 in September 2021.
The Governors made this decision having reflected on the ongoing impact of the Covid-19 crisis, the considerable disruption that this was having on the education of pupils then in Primary 6 and the possibility of further disruption for these same pupils as they moved into Primary 7.
The Board of Governors has, therefore, temporarily amended its Admissions Criteria for the 2021-2022 academic year. The full criteria are available by clicking the link below.
